Slabstead (“we,” “us,” or the “Site”) is a homeowner information and contractor-matching service. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what you submit in the request form, we use it to review your project and match it with one independent local contractor, and we do not sell it to call lists.

Information we collect

When you submit a request, we collect what you provide:

• Contact details - name, phone number, email address
• Property location - city, state, and ZIP code
• Project details - the affected concrete area, what you need done, approximate extent, observed issues, timing, preferred contact method, requested service, and any description you add
• Your confirmations - that you own or are authorized for the property, and your consent to be contacted
• Routing information generated by the Site, such as which market your request belongs to and which page you submitted it from

Our hosting and form provider processes submissions on our behalf and records standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) as part of operating the website and filtering spam. We do not currently run advertising or analytics trackers on this site. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

How we use your information

• To review and verify your request by phone, text, or email
• To share your request with one independent concrete-leveling contractor serving your area, so they can contact you about the project
• To operate, secure, and improve the Site
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not distribute your request to multiple buyers or call lists. The contractor who receives your request is independent of us; once introduced, their use of your information is governed by their own practices, and any agreement for work is strictly between you and them.

Contact and consent

By submitting the form and checking the consent box, you agree that we and the matched contractor may contact you about your request by phone call, text message, or email. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. You can opt out at any time - tell us or the contractor to stop, reply “STOP” to a text, or submit a request through the form noting that you want your information removed, and we will honor it.

Data retention and security

We keep request records only as long as needed to operate the service, resolve questions, and meet legal obligations, then delete them. Submissions are transmitted over HTTPS and stored with our form provider. No internet service can promise perfect security, but we limit access to what operating the service requires.

Your choices and rights

You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights. To exercise any of these, contact us through the form on this site and note “privacy request” in the description - we respond to verified requests.

Children

This Site is for homeowners and other adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date. Material changes to how request data is shared will be disclosed prominently before they take effect.
